<p style="text-align: justify;">Smokers &#8216;social&#8217;, those who do not do every day or who do not exceed 10 cigarettes a day, have almost the same probability of cardiovascular disease than the most active.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">For too long, doctors insist the damage smoking causes both heavy smokers as liabilities, but did not put enough emphasis on the damage that light smokers also suffer, ie that light smokers and also sporadic (those who do not daily ), &#8220;said Dr. Alejandro Videla, pulmonologist and coordinator of the Smoking Clinic, Hospital Universitario Austral.</p>

According to a study published last year in the journal Circulation , American Heart Association, the risk of heart disease is virtually the same regardless of whether little or much you smoke every day or occasionally .</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">It is also a greater possibility of lung cancer, cataracts, reproductive disorders (placenta previa, and ectopic pregnancy), osteoporosis and overall mortality, compared with a nonsmoker.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The risk of death from aortic aneurysm is about 3 times higher in smoking &#8220;light&#8221; than in nonsmokers . And women between 35 and 49 who consume between 1 and 4 cigarettes a day are five times greater risk of developing lung cancer.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The damage, beyond the amount.<br />
&#8220;The board of abandonment or cessation proved effective in helping all smokers, regardless of the number of cigarettes consumed, because the damage is independent of dose&#8221;, postulated Videla, who helped draft the new National Directory of Tobacco Treatment Ministry of Health of the Nation.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">He added that the damage depends not only on the quantity but also of &#8220;smoker&#8217;s genetic makeup, which is more or less susceptible to damage.&#8221;  This explains the fact that some people who smoke have equal bit more risk than smokers &#8221; he said.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">As for the possibility of leaving the service and to sustain this successfully, Videla recognized that smoking &#8220;light&#8221; are at an advantage: &#8220;They have low levels of addiction, making them easier to leave, compared with those who consume more than 10 cigarettes a day. However, there are people who still smoke has little difficulty in leaving. It is noteworthy that, until now, no treatment was tested specifically in the group of light smokers, but it stands to reason that the treatments used for more severe cases also effective in them.</p>

Cigarette advertising was everywhere. Currently, we are more aware of what smoking is bad for our health. Cigarettes are restricted or prohibited in virtually all public places and companies that manufacture cigarettes and can not do propaganda on buses or trains, road signs, television and in many magazines. Almost everyone knows that smoking causes cancer, emphysema and heart disease, that can shorten your life by 10 years or more and that the habit can cost a smoker thousands of dollars annually.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">So why do people still smoke? The answer is very simple: it is an addiction. Once you start is very difficult to quit smoking is a habit hard to break because the snuff contains nicotine, which is highly addictive. As with heroin or other addictive drugs, the body and mind so quickly get used to the nicotine that the person needs to consume to feel good. Almost no smoker begins to smoke as adults. Statistics show that approximately 9 out of 10 smokers start before 18 years of age. Some teens who smoke say they start because they think it makes them look bigger (and it is true, as long as you want to have yellow teeth and wrinkles). Others smoke because they believe it helps them relax (but not, in fact, the heart beats faster while a person smokes).</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Some start smoking as a way to feel rebellious or to differentiate (which works if you want your friends have to wait somewhere else while you smoke). Others start because their friends smoke, or simply because they have something to do. Some people, especially girls, start smoking because they think it can control your weight. The diseases that smoking can cause, such as lung diseases or cancer, do cause weight loss, but not a very good way to lose weight! Another of the reasons why people start smoking is because members of your family makes. Most adults who started smoking in their teens never thought they would become addicted. That&#8217;s why people say they would have been much easier not to start smoking. The advertisements of cigarettes from the time when your parents were young convinced many of them that smoking was glamorous, striking or fascinating, although in reality is something repugnant-smelling, expensive and unhealthy.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The cigarette ads in the 1940s even showed doctors who recommended the cigarette as a way to relax! The cigarette ads still show smokers as attractive and modern, sophisticated and elegant, or rebellious and cool. The good news is that now these ads are not so visible and are less effective than before: in the same way that doctors are more sensible about cigarettes today than in the previous generation, teenagers are more aware of how manipulative they can be advertisements. The government has also passed laws that limit where and how you can advertise tobacco companies to help children avoid the vice of smoking.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">How did the cigarette your health There are no physical reasons to start smoking: the body does not need snuff in the way it needs food, water, sleep and exercise. However, many people can not stop smoking and some do not to disregard the information necessary to do so. The aim of this paper will then serve as a guide for all those people who are looking to stop smoking and do not know what to do to achieve that result.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">1. Assume the responsibility<br />
Many people do not take responsibility for their decisions. What does this mean? In this context, we mean that if we are to stop smoking , only we can do it. We need to fully understand this idea in order to be successful. This does not mean we can not help. However, we need to become strong and take responsibility for what we want to achieve a sound and safe. We need to believe in us.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">2. Share with others<br />
The second step will be to tell your loved ones what we do. Tell your family and your closest friends you are quitting and ask for help. Probably, depending on the level of addiction or habit, the first few weeks you will feel some irritation, so it&#8217;s good that the people you normally try, know that your character will be conditioned on your decision to quit smoking.<span id="more-500"></span></p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>If you’re a smoker, no doubt you’ve heard all the lectures on how bad cigarettes are for your lungs and heart. Every package of cigarettes sold in the US bears warning labels stating the bad things that smoking does to your body. But did you know that smoking may be contributing to your back pain?</p>
<p>The American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS) conducted a study in which they found that smoking restricts blood supply to the bones and can adversely affect bone density. This increases your risk of osteoporosis, a disease that is very hard on the back.</p>
<p>When blood flow is restricted to the vertebrae, the discs cushioning them can become more brittle, increasing the risk of a ruptured disk. Furthermore, the typical smokers’ cough also puts pressure on the spine.</p>
<p>If you have back pain, you may have tried effective lifestyle changes like increasing exercise and using an <a href="http://www.ergonomicchair.org/">ergonomic chair</a> for work. But if you quit smoking, you’ll benefit your back even more, particularly if you face back surgery down the road. Bone healing is slower in smokers, as is wound healing.</p>
<p>A study on spinal fusion surgery for the lower back found that while 70% of non-smokers were able to return to work after surgery, only about 50% of smokers were able to return to work. However, this risk is reversible if you quit smoking at least two weeks before surgery and refrain from smoking for at least six months afterward. If you’re able to do that, you should be able to kick the habit for good!</p>
<p>The evidence for the harmful effects of smoking continues to build, and those effects go beyond the lungs and heart. Having a healthier back is one more good reason to quit smoking.</p>

- Smoking is prohibited in all premises for public use closed without any exception, both in bars and restaurants</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">- Nor can smoking in playgrounds and areas or play areas for children.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">- Nor shall smoke covered spaces or outdoor areas belonging to the health facilities .</p>
